General information from ETH Zurich for students as well as contact details of the offices can be found on the coronavirus webpage.

Exchange studies

The Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) offers interested students to stay for one or up to a maximum of two semesters at the department, depending on the student exchange agreements.

Primary Target Group: Bachelor and Master students in Architecture.

The programs MSc in Integrated Building Systems and MSc in Landscape Architecture themselves are not open to incoming exchange or visiting students for course work (incl. design studios offered in the programs). However, it is possible to enroll in individual courses in these subject areas if they are also offered within the BSc and MSc in Architecture study programs (search via course catalogue -> Structure -> Programme).

Seminar trips during studies at the D-ARCH

Seminar trips cause additional costs (expence category A: CHF 50 to category F: over CHF 1500). Seminar trips are not compulsory for mobility students, except if a trip is an integrated part of a design class.

Important: Taking part in the internal enrolment for a seminar week and being allocated means that students are obliged to participate in the seminar trip!

Design studio and internal enrolment

The main work is the design studio (architectural design V-IX). All students have to participate in the internal enrolment for it (online). Mobility students have mode C regardless how many design classes they have already completed.

There is no guarantee for a place in a particular design studio!
