The lecture series on Architecture provides contemporary views on work emerging in architectural practice today. Our guest speakers in the Spring Semester 2015 are professionals in the field of architecture, theory, or engineering and all strongly committed to the academic world. Guy Nordenson, head of the structural engineering practice Guy Nordenson and Associates, is a structural engineer and professor of architecture and structural engineering at Princeton University, New Jersey. Anthony Vidler, a historian and critic of modern and contemporary architecture, is professor of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, the Cooper Union, New York, where he was acting dean from 2000 to 2012. Armand Grüntuch and Almut Grüntuch-Ernst are heads of the Berlin-based architectural firm Grüntuch Ernst. Almut Grüntuch-Ernst also teaches design and architectural strategies at TU Braunschweig. The architect Amale Andraos has recently been appointed dean of Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and is, together with Dan Wood, a co-founder of WORKac, an architectural firm based in New York.
