MAS Department of Architecture

An MAS programme can as well be pursued by interested candidates who do not hold an ETH degree and is, amongst other things, particularly well-suited to prepare for re-entry into professional practice.

Master programs (MAS) serve to strengthen or expand interdisciplinary professional skills and can lead to a new profession. They include at least 60 ECTS credit points and 600 contact hours, require a master's or a project work and usually last between one year (full-time) and two years (part-time). For admission, a Master degree from ETH, a recognized as equivalent degree from another university or equivalent level of education is required. On successful completion the academic title " Master of Advanced Studies ETH in ... (MAS ETH ... ) " is awarded.
