In the fall of 2012, the Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich has conducted a survey on the content carried out to obtain input for the development of its programs. 512 people have filled out the questionnaires. The information desk and academic counselling services of the Department of Architecture offer prospective students insight into student life and provides decision-making support in the selection of degree programmes. Architects provide accounts of their academic experiences and professional practice.

The academic programme of the D-ARCH takes five years and is structured, following the ‘Bologna’ model, in Bachelor and Master programmes. Further qualifications are available in the form of various advanced study programmes (MAS) or a doctorate.
